Meet Dr. Marissa Vance, DMD
Dr. Vance opened Cedar Hollow Family Dental in 2012 with a simple idea: dentistry should feel calm, clear, and a little kinder than people expect. After training at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and working in busier practices, she wanted to build a place where patients are not rushed and where the dentist actually explains what is going on.
She is known for a gentle hand and for being especially good with anxious patients and young children. Outside the office, she coaches youth soccer and can usually be found at the Eagle Ridge farmers market on Saturday mornings.
Our comfort-focused approach
We move at your pace. If the chair makes you tense, tell us. We explain each step before it happens and stop whenever you need a moment. A lot of our patients arrived nervous and now bring their whole family.
We explain, we do not lecture. You will see your X-rays and scans, hear your options in plain language, and get costs up front. What you do with that is your call.
We are in it for the long run. We would rather earn a patient for twenty years than push a treatment today. Honesty is the whole practice.
Technology that keeps it gentle
We use digital X-rays, which are fast and use very little radiation, and intraoral scanning instead of messy impressions. The point of the technology is not to impress anyone. It is to make visits quicker, more comfortable, and easier to understand.
